Take Care

2020

Streets of Hope is the first and the largest presentation of homegrown artists, lining the Civic District and beyond with their artworks to lift the spirits of Singaporeans as the nation gets through an unprecedented time together.

My artwork “Take Care” was printed on one of the street banners along Queen St (between Bras Basah & Middle Road) as part of National Arts Council's Streets of Hope initiative.

This artwork focuses on the phrase “Take Care”, emphasizing the significance of self-care and mutual support during the challenging times. Inspired by nature’s resilience observed during lockdown, it reflects on strength admist adversity. Masks and sanitizers symbolize the pandemic while a rainbow represents hope, serving as a reminder to maintain optimism and solidarity in overcoming the situation.
